In July 2009, the HCP helped to fund and organise a Community Sports and Fun Day called LOVE HAINAULT, LOVE YOURSELF. Thanks to the HCP and the Hainault Youth Centre, lots of free activities filled the Hainault Forest High School field. At least 250 young people came to the event and got the chance to try out rock climbing, archery, five-a-side sports, arts and crafts and more.

The HCP made sure that the young children were not left out by funding a bouncy-castle, a Spanish childrens' ride, a football shootout, a cycle-powered smoothie-maker and more.
