Community Sports and Fun Day

In July 2009, the HCP helped to fund and organise a Community Sports and Fun Day called LOVE HAINAULT, LOVE YOURSELF. Thanks to the HCP and the Hainault Youth Centre, lots of free activities filled the Hainault Forest High School field. At least 250 young people came to the event and got the chance to try out rock climbing, archery, five-a-side sports, arts and crafts and more.

Jobs and Training Fair

Whether you’re looking for a job, a career change, advice or help setting up your own business then Redbridge Jobs Fair is the place to be.

Local employers, including the Council, will be on hand to advertise their full and part-time vacancies as well as offer help on how to get into employment. Experts will also be offering guidance on training opportunities and assistance on how to apply for jobs. There will also be a number of helpful workshops going on throughout the day.

Green Pledge Cards- Terms and Conditions

For those of you who sent back your Home Energy Check questionnaires, you will soon be receiving your Home Energy Check Report. This will tell you how to make changes to your home that will save you energy and money on your fuel bills.

With your report, you will also receive a Green Pledge Card from Redbridge Council's Environment Team. This is your opportunity to help the environment by pledging to change one small thing in your daily routine, such as washing your clothes at a lower temperature or turning your appliances off standby. Simply tick your pledge and send it back free of charge and you could WIN A £60 M&S voucher!.
