Small Grants Programme
The HCP Small Grants Programme 2009/10 has been a great success! We've awarded nearly £5000 of our own funding to smaller groups in Hainault and helped nine different projects prosper!
Here's a list of the groups and projects we've funded:
o St Paul's Church - Telephone line for Link to God helpline
o Hainault Forest Country Park Volunteers - Completing the pond in the new wildlife garden
o 1st Hainault Scout Group - Awareness campaign
o Gator Amateur Boxing Club - Equipment and awareness campaign
o Hainault Library Craft and Natter - Wool for charity work
o Hainault Library Saturday Circle - Materials for teaching sessions
o Redbridge Citizens Advice Bureau - A room at HFCA for 3 months
o Hainault Forest High School - Hedge for Huntsman Road boundary
o Forest Farm Peace Garden - Tree planting and grafting workshops

The Hainault Community Project (HCP) has launched its very own Small Grants Programme! Up to £500 is available to any group or organisation that is intending to run a project or activity in the next six months that will benefit Hainault and its residents.
If your group or organisation wants to apply for funding, you can download an Application Form below. Alternatively, we can send you one: contact Sarah Swalheim on 020 8708 2200 or email sarah.swalheim@redbridge.gov.uk. Make sure to read the Terms and Conditions below before applying.

Who can apply?
o The Small Grants Programme is open to groups or organisations, not individuals.
o The HCP will award grants to organisations and groups for initiatives and projects that will contribute towards achieving the aims of the HCP Action Plan.
o The HCP Small Grants Programme is open to any group or organisation, provided that their proposed project or activity is intended to benefit Hainault.
o To be eligible for a grant, your group or organisation must meet the HCP Small Grants Programme Terms and Conditions (see below or contact Sarah on 020 8708 2200)
What is the deadline for applications?
o Application Forms should be completed and returned by Saturday 28th November 2009 to: Sarah Swalheim, Planning and Regeneration, PO Box 2, Town Hall, High Road, Ilford, Essex, IG1 1DD. Application Forms received after this date will not be considered.
o Successful applicants will be notified by post by 24th December 2009.
If we are successful, when will we receive the funding?
o If you are successful, the HCP funding you have been awarded will only be given if and when receipts showing proof of expenditure have been received by Sarah Swalheim (unless otherwise agreed). Receipts must be received no later than Saturday 13th March 2010.
